This is the second page of my awards which have been posted in the order in which I have received them. I consider each one to be an honor. It is gratifying to know that attention to detail and content is recognized and applauded. As a relative novice, I am inspired to continue to share uplifting information on my site and to sharpen my webmaster skills. Each award is linked directly to the site of the person who gave it. If there is no link, it is because that site has moved and I am unaware of the new URL. THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM continues to seem so appropriate for this page!
This beautiful award comes from an extraordinary young Native American woman who ended her correspondence with "Love in Christ, KACHINA *Cherish Your Life *Cherish Others." Kachina wrote, "Dearest Marlene, What an amazing site you have! I viewed it and was astounded by everything I read. Your quilts are exquisite! Your heritage and family ...such beautiful pictures. What a rich culture and tradition. You are an amazing woman. All you have accomplished, all you have done ...what a heroine. Your children must be so very proud of you. ...Your site is truly deserving of recognition... ."
On April 13, 1999, I received MARIE'S EXCELLENCE AWARD FOR WEBPAGE DESIGN which is given for "sites that display excellent use of designing a web page." She added, "Keep up the great work you're doing! Peace, Health, and Happiness Always."
I received LAUREL'S KOOL AWARD on May 17, 1999. She states, "I look for great content and design. I want to see a part of YOU in your work. I love to see a page that has been worked on by the heart, not one just thrown together. I loved visiting your site. I truly enjoyed myself and will visit often."
On May 22, 1999, I received this beautiful award with the following message: "After viewing your pages, I would like to inform you that you have qualified for my ANGELA'S ANGEL AWARD. This award is given to pages that express Love, Poetry, and/or Spirituality. Hope you will enjoy your well-deserved award! With Angel Hugs, Angel"
On July 23, 1999, I received the ALLISON HEART AWARD. Criteria is that the site MUST be built from the heart and MUST show interest in what you love. She added, "I enjoyed your site very much! What a wonderful tribute to your home state (and I now know I live almost 700 miles away)! Thank you for sharing from your heart!"
Miss Pansy states that the OUTSTANDING FAMILY FRIENDLY WEBSITE AWARD is a REWARD for a site "which can be viewed in its entirety by anyone of any age."
From Debra Hays (aka Wings) comes, " It is my pleasure to present to you the WINGS' KOOL SITE AWARD for your homepage *Welcome to Marlene's Place*. Your site is very well designed with nice graphics and your content is informative, as well as entertaining. It is a positive contribution to the Web. On August 1, 1999, I received this beautiful NUTZMOM of 6's YOU'VE TOUCHED MY HEART AWARD. With six children, including eight year-old- twins, the donor says that she doesn't have a real job. :-) She wrote, "Your site truly did 'touch my heart' and is an inspiration to women all over the world. You are a truly courageous woman and I applaud you on how far you've come in life. Take care and God Bless!

This stunning CAROL'S CORNER AWARD OF EXCELLENCE was received on August 13, 1999. Carol states, "I know how excited I was to receive an award ~ I want to do the same for those who have worked hard on their pages and deserve the recognition." She added, "I'd love for you to have my award."
This attractive award was received on March 19, 2000. The TOYMAKER explains that this award is given to those who exhibit heart and creativity in designing their homepages, not for pages that were just "slapped together." She stated, "Congratulations ...
